Personal Data

Personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, and payment information (processed securely via Stripe), that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the App or when you choose to participate in our events and activities.

Media & Camera Access

We request access to your device's photo library and camera ("NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription" and "NSCameraUsageDescription") to allow you to upload profile pictures, submit event proof, and share content within the community. We do not access your photos or camera without your explicit permission.

Location Data

We may request access to your location ("NSLocationWhenInUseUsageDescription") to suggest nearby events and verify event attendance. You can opt-out of this at any time in your device settings.

Device Data

Information our servers automatically collect when you access the App, such as your IP address, device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers (UDID) for push notifications and security purposes.

AR Face Filter (TrueDepth / ARKit Face Tracking)

Project Mayhem ATL (a sibling iOS app published under the same Mayhem World account) includes an optional "Pool Filter" screen that places a 3D Mayhem overlay (sunglasses + chain + flame halo) onto your face in a live front-camera preview. To position the overlay, the feature uses Apple's ARKit ARFaceTrackingConfiguration, which on iPhone X and later relies on the TrueDepth front camera.

What is collected: ARKit produces a live face anchor (a per-frame 4×4 position/rotation transform) that the app uses solely to attach the 3D overlay to your head in real time. The raw camera feed, depth map, and face mesh geometry stay on the device inside Apple's ARKit framework — the app never reads them, never copies them, and never sends them off the device.

Purpose: Live AR overlay rendering only. No face recognition, no identity matching, no analytics on facial features, no training of any model.

Sharing & storage: Face data is not shared with any third party and is not stored on our servers or anyone else's. ARKit holds the anchor in memory while the AR view is on screen and releases it when you leave the screen. If you tap the shutter, the app saves a flat 2D snapshot of the rendered scene (your face + the 3D overlay, exactly as you see it) and hands it to Apple's system Share Sheet so you can save or send it yourself. Nothing is auto-uploaded.

Retention: Zero. The face anchor exists only for the lifetime of the AR session. The snapshot lives in the Share Sheet until you save or dismiss it. No biometric identification or recognition occurs at any point.

Opt-In Consent

By checking the SMS opt-in checkbox during account registration at mayhemworld.io, you expressly consent to receive promotional SMS/text messages from Mayhem World. This consent is separate from and not required for use of the platform or to make a purchase. You may use all features of Mayhem World without opting in to SMS communications.

Types of Messages

If you opt in, you may receive promotional messages about: upcoming events, new experience alerts, exclusive offers, VIP deals, and featured event highlights. Message frequency varies based on event availability and promotional campaigns.

Opting Out

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You may also text HELP for assistance. Standard message and data rates may apply. Opting out of SMS will not affect your ability to use the Mayhem World platform.

No Sharing of Phone Numbers

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your phone number is used solely for Mayhem World communications that you have consented to receive.
